ALL ABOARD

HELLO,

 

My name is Kandice Powell. I am 33 years old. I am a wife and mother of 2 and of course a baby magnet. My passion in life is to nurture children, allowing them to grow up in a liberated environment that still maintains a sense of structure.

 

I am a UCLA graduate, class of 2005, receiving my BA in Spanish and continued on to intern at the Federal building in Downtown Los Angeles. I always knew that working with children was my life's work and strong suit and happened to have a best friend, since the age of 8, whose grandmother had an in-home daycare that I worked and assisted at for many years. Since then, and while I was in school, I took several classes in child development including Child Development 101, 103 and Advanced Child Rearing. I feel that mother's intuition is God's greatest gift and with the right amount of love, compassion and tender care, all children will be made happy at All Aboard Childcare. To add to that, I will be enriching their bellies with homemade food which keeps everyone happy. I am also CPR certified and have taken Health & safety classes for children.

 

If you have more questions for me, I would be more than happy to answer them, trust me, I know how hard it is to choose a childcare location and I will do everything in my power to make the transition easy for both you and your children. As I am fully bilingual, All Aboard welcomes all ethnicities, origins and languages and is excited to offer Spanish resources as to encourage bilingual children.
